PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Graduate Students in Music Education can select between two options. The
first option is for individuals who already possess music teacher licensure/certification.
The individual takes courses within a College
Core Requirements, and Music Specialization.
Option 2 is the Licensure Alternative Mater's Program (L.A.M.P. Program) within music is designed for people who possess an undergraduate degree in music and seek to obtain State of Ohio teacher licensure in music. Specific course requirements are determined after an evaluation of the applicant's undergraduate transcript(s). Contact the Department of Music for a transcript evaluation.
OF SPECIAL INTEREST
Plans of Study are used to accommodate special interests of the applicant. Graduate
Assistantships available within music and music education. Contact Department of Music
for information

INTERNAL ADMISSIONS DEADLINES
Prior to semester the applicant intends to begin. March 1 - Priority
consideration for graduate assistantships.
