Dr. Sekhar Pindiprolu is an associate professor in the Special Education program. He teaches issues, methods, and behavior courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. He also supervises practicum students and student teachers. He has authored three successful US Department of Education grant proposals and a number of state and foundation grants. Dr. Pindiprolu has directed a federal funded Steppingstones for Technology grant titled “Project Need to Read: Evaluation of computer-based reading programs paired with home and school instruction,” and a Research and Innovation to Improve Services and Results for Children with Disabilities grant titled “ Affects of Parent-Mediated Television Viewing Strategies with Preschool Children with Language Delays.” He is currently co-directing a Special Education Preservice Training Improvement grant titled “Project EC-NET.” He is a recipient of ZERO to THREE’s National Solnit Fellowship and has authored numerous publications. He presents regularly at national and international conferences and serves as a reviewer for Teacher Education and Special Education and The Journal of the International Association of Special Education.
