Committed to the Development of Educational Leaders and Scholars
The mission of the Department of Educational Foundations and Leadership is to prepare and develop educational leaders and scholars to be agents of transformation on all levels of educational systems. A learning paradigm informs our graduate programs, which are student-centered, inquiry-based, and integrated in terms of theory and practice. This approach is grounded in the mission of The Judith Herb College of Education, Health Science and Human Service, “Prepare students....”
The Department of Educational Foundations and Leadership offers the following graduate programs (Masters, Ed.D., and Ph.D.):
- Educational Administration and Supervision
- Educational Psychology
- Higher Education
- Research and Measurement
- Social Foundations of Education (including philosophy, sociology, and history of education)
- Pedagogy of Peace Concentration
