- Summer 2013 China Leadership Academy
- The Higher Education Program is pleased to announce the 2013 China Summer Leadership Academy. Come join the members of the Ohio Community College Leadership Cohort as we learn about short-cycle higher education in China. Our partners for this two-week summer leadership academy include the Higher Education Program at Xiamen University and Ningbo Polytechnic University. - The Higher Education Program is pleased to announce the start of a Professional Master's Cohort in the Fall of 2013. Each course in this cohort will meet on 6 Saturdays from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm at the Arrowhead Park Learning Center in Maumee. - The Higher Education Program is pleased to announce the start of a Four-Year College and University Leadership Cohort in the Fall of 2014. Classes for this doctoral cohort will meet on 8 Wednesdays from 5:00 to 10:00 pm at the Arrowhead Park Learning Center in Maumee. Higher Education Program
Vision
Higher Education Program students are involved in a culture of scholarship and accessibility, studying with faculty who work with post-secondary organizations to create programs, courses, and services to meet their needs.
Mission
The UT Higher Education Program prepares masters and doctoral students to become leaders who will shape the future of American public and private higher education.
Focus of Degree Programs
The M.Ed. program focuses on Higher Education, with an on-campus Student Affairs Administration Cohort, and an off-campus Professional Master's Cohort that meets in Maumee, both combining academic coursework with a practicum and a capstone experience.
The Ph.D. program focuses on Administration and Policy Analysis, with an Ohio Community College Leadership Cohort that meets in Columbus, and a Four-Year College and University Leadership Cohort that meets in Maumee.
