John H. Russel Scholarship
- Awarded to full-time graduate students in the Department of Educational Foundations and Leadership in the Judith Herb College of Education, Health Science, and Human Service. Preference will be given to candidates who come from the Higher Education Program who express an interest in pursuing a career in higher education following completion of their individualized program of study. Applicants will be considered on the basis of their academic performance and the content of a written statement (not to exceed five pages) describing their aspirations in the field of higher education.
Dr. J. Lee and Dr. Deborah A. Johnson Scholarship
- Scholarship awarded to full-time master's or doctoral students at UT, who are majoring in Educational Administration and Supervision or Higher Education. Recipient must have a GPA of 3.75 or higher and must have completed the first semester of his or her degree program. Scholarship is not automatically renewable however, recipients may re-apply each year. Scholarship may be applied to any educational expense.

Judith Herb College of Education Alumni Affiliate Scholarship
- The Education Alumni Affiliate Scholarship is for education majors who will be attending The University of Toledo full-time or part-time for the 2011-2012 academic year. Entering freshmen, undergraduate, and graduate students are invited to apply. A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred. Applicants are to have a 2010-2011 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file in the Office of Student Financial Aid. Recipients will be chosen on the basis of financial need, academic merit, and community involvement.

Robert J. and Wrey Warner Barber Scholarship Fund
- Recipients shall be students majoring in education in the Judith Herb College of Education.

Kappa Kappa Gamma Alumni Scholarship

The Lunt Family Scholarship
- The scholarship is awarded to an aspiring sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student in the Judith Herb College of Education who has a minimum 2.7 GPA. This scholarship may be used for all educational expenses and may be renewable by determination of the Judith Herb College Scholarship Committee.
Francis E. & Phillip C. Nash Memorial Scholarships

Fred J. Raniele Memorial/Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship

Philip J. Rusche Emeriti Faculty Scholarship
- Scholarship is for an outstanding graduate student in Judith Herb College of Education with a minimum 3.5 GPA. Must demonstrate a strong commitment to their professional field of study and provide leadership among college peers and professional colleagues in the schools. Renewable if student continues to meet criteria.

Helen M. Fields Memorial Achievement Award
- This award is presented to a graduate student with an excellent academic record in the field of English or Education. One applicant will receive a certificate plus a cash award. The amount varies each year depending upon available funds. In the past, award amounts have ranged from $350 to $500.
University Fellowship
- Primarily for entering Ph.D. students and those very early in their Ph.D. program who have exceptional academic records. It is the highest student award the Graduate School makes and provides a stipend for the academic year at the doctoral student level as defined by each departmental program, plus remission of instructional fees, out-of-state surcharge, general fees, student legal fee and an insurance subsidy for UT student health insurance. May be renewed for up to three years provided the student maintains an outstanding academic record and makes adequate progress toward the degree.
Alumni Association Graduate Scholarship
- This scholarship is for a UT graduate pursuing a post-graduate degree (not a certification). The scholarship is based on financial need as well as campus and community involvement. Recipient may be full-time or part-time student. Prior recipients may reapply. Application deadline is March 12.

American Association of University Women, Toledo Branch/Dean Katherine Easley Wemmer Trust Fund
- Scholarships for women who are active in campus and/or community service. May be:
- Full-time seniors or
- Part-time or full-time students enrolled in any graduate program at The University of Toledo, or
- Graduates of the University who are attending the UT Health Science Campus.

Chinese Association of Greater Toledo Scholarship

Research Support
Kitty Lowery Memorial Research Fund for Higher Education
- Recipients are doctoral students majoring in Higher Education. To be used to support research expenses related to dissertations. Applicants must submit a successfully defended concept paper, with a budget and timeline for the completion of their dissertation studies.

Robert N. Whiteford Memorial Scholarship
- This award is presented to a graduate student to assist in research for the thesis, project or dissertation and to further the student's professional development. One applicant will receive a certificate plus a cash award. The amount varies each year depending upon available funds. In the past, award amounts have generally ranged between $300 to $400.
