Eta Sigma Gamma (ESG) is a national professional health science honorary for undergraduate students, graduate students, and practicing health professionals. Put simply, ESG is a professional organization for students and practicing professionals in the fields of school health, community health, and public health. Our local chapter of ESG, the Iota Chapter, was established at the University of Toledo in 1973 and has a rich history of success.
Who Can Join?
This honorary is open to any student at any level of study in health science, health education, community health, public health or a related field. To become a member, one must meet the eligibility requirements below:
• GPA of 2.7 during any semester followed by a GPA of at least 2.5 the next semester.
• Faithfully attend chapter meetings and actively participate in chapter activities.
• Apply for membership, pay his/her dues, and attend the induction ceremony.
