Motion Analysis Laboratory


The Motion Analysis Lab is a new 1600 square foot facility that is located in the College of Health and Human Services building. It provides space for instruction in biomechanics, as well as both student and faculty research. The lab provides a variety of state-of-the-art hardware and software, including:
- Motion Analysis Inc. 12 camera high speed Hi-Res Eagle system for video analysis
- Multiple digital video cameras, including one high speed video cam
- Three AMTI force plates and one portable Bertec force plate
Multiple Noraxon EMG telemetry systems, including a new DTS system - An F-scan foot pressure measurement system and a complimentary Mat-scan system
- Bio-metrics elgons and accelerometers
- A variety of biomechanics-related software including Cortex, OrthoTrak, MyoResearch XP, MyoVideo, etc.

4. Influence of Multi-tasking on Functional Gait and Balance
5. Influence of Vision on Pre-disposition for ACL injury
6. Biomechanics of Strength Training
7. Influence of shows on Kinetics and Kinematics of Running
