The Joint Injury and Muscle Activation (JIMA) Laboratory is dedicated to the evaluation of neurological mechanisms related to arthrogenic muscle inhibition, as well as the development of disinhibitory therapeutic interventions aimed at restoring optimal neuromuscular control following joint injury.
