Jared Oluoch, Ph.D.

about me

I am an Associate Professor and Associate Chair in the Department of Engineering Technology at the University of Toledo, Ohio. I am also the Program Director for Computer Science & Engineering Technology (CSET) and Information Technology (IT) programs. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science and Informatics from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan in 2015.

My research interests are in trust and reputation mechanisms for Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs); localization of wireless sensor networks; physical layer security; and location accuracy for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). Part of my current research is funded by NSF.
