Biography

Dr. Afjeh, Professor Emeritus in 2018, was selected as a Distinguished University Professor, served as Chairman and was Director of Major Research Initiatives in the Department of Mechanical, Industrial, and Manufacturing Engineering at the University of Toledo. He received his BSME from Arya Mehr University of Technology, and his MSME and Ph.D. from the University of Toledo. He is a member of American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), Ohio Society of Professional Engineering (OSPE), Phi Kappa Phi, Pi Tau Sigma, Sigma Xi, and AIAA.
