Bio
Reza Rizvi is the Principal Investigator of the Polymer and Inorganic Composites, Structures and Surfaces Lab (PICSSL pronounced "pixel") at the University of Toledo and an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical, Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering in the College of Engineering. His research interests are in scale-able fabrication and applications of polymer and inorganic composites, structures and surfaces.
Previously, Reza held the prestigious Canadian Natural Science and Engineering Research Council's (NSERC) Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry in University of California, Los Angeles in Prof. Richard Kaner's group. Prior to that, he was the Technology Evaluation in the Elderly (TNV) Postdoctoral Fellow at the Toronto Rehab Institute, part of the University Health Network in Toronto, Canada. Reza obtained his PhD under the supervision of Prof. Hani Naguib's group in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the University of Toronto.
