- Handles repair, inspection, design, fabrication, education, incident investigation, technology assessment, contract management and consultative services on a wide range of medical, communication and computer technologies
- Conducts an ongoing QA process monitoring the effects of the equipment management program. Key components of the program are identified and then monitored. Action plans are developed and reports of findings are submitted to the UT Health Science Campus safety committee on a quarterly basis
- Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday excluding UT observed holidays. On-call staff is available via pager 24-hours a day, seven-days a week for emergency service.
