1. Currently, our staff consists of two movers, who are responsible for performing recycling and moving activities for the Bancroft and Scott Park Campuses.
2. A moving charge will be assessed for requested office/classroom moves for faculty, staff or auxiliary departments. This is necessary in order to meet our current budget.
3. Moving is based upon a fee of $47 per hour. A one-hour minimum will be charged for all moves. Time spent for travel, disassembling/ reassembling furniture, etc., will be considered as move-related and calculated into the moving time. Currently, there is NO CHARGE for items that are picked up and moved to the auction site, trashed, or computers or computer components that are recycled.
4. Departments will be charged if large items are moved from the Receiving Department at Westwood Annex, to a campus location. (This is for circumstances when Receiving is unable to deliver the item.)
5. Moving is scheduled to occur between the hours of 8:15 am - 2:00 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
6. Please send us your move request at least one week in advance, which allows the movers' time to be efficiently scheduled to meet the needs of our campus users. Unscheduled or emergency moves will be considered after the regular move schedule is arranged. Please CLICK HERE to schedule your moves.
