UT Health Science Campus-Administered Funds
ScholarshipsScholarships offered by UT Health Science Campus are funds originated from the Department of Health and Human Services. Scholarships are different from loans in that the money is interest and debt free.
Scholarships for Disadvantaged Students (SDS)
Institutional Scholarships
UT Health Science Campus offers a limited number of scholarships to entering and continuing medical students.
Scholarship selection for entering students is done by an Admissions Scholarship Committee. Scholarship selection for continuing
students is done
by the College of Medicine Student Affairs Scholarship Committee. For more information about these scholarships, please contact

Loans administered by UT Health Science Campus are fixed, low-interest loans and are subsidized by the Department of Education and the Department of Health and Human Services. Funds are awarded annually to UT Health Science Campus and are distributed to full-time medical students with the most financial need.
