UT Foundation Names New Development Officers
In its ongoing efforts to improve operations and services, The University of Toledo Foundation recently converted to new donor management and accounting software systems.
The new systems, which went live July 5, allow increased flexibility and options for Foundation staff and campus account representatives. Long-term benefits also include a greater capability for electronic communication, plus self-service/on-demand reporting, which will save costs and aid the organization’s “green” efforts.
Over time, the Foundation will use more of the electronic communications options and reduce paper receipts and other printed and postage materials. The Foundation already has e-mail addresses for about 95 percent of UT’s nearly 10,000 active donors and is making an effort to increase that to 100 percent, noted UT Foundation President Brenda Lee.
Donor and Alumni Assistance Needed
As the Foundation works through preliminary issues with system operations and data conversion, some errors and delays may occur. These could affect name assemblies or salutations, as well as receipt and pledge information.
Please report any issues, in writing, to firstname.lastname@example.org. Also be sure to forward any changes in your postal or email addresses.
Training sessions are currently being scheduled for faculty, staff and other fund account representatives to learn the new systems.
