How To Approve A Student For Admission To The College of Graduate Studies
Decision pages with a Document Status of "New" indicate that these are decision pages that have not been reviewed by the college.
- Open the decision page from the query results.
- Double click the "Excel" icon.
- Scroll down the page to Admission Type.

- Admission Decision = Regular/Provisional/Deny (user fills in)
- Term = Term Admitted (user fills in)
- Text box = Type of reason for denial or provision or any notation regarding admission type
(user fills in)
- The individual responsible for funding in each college will complete the funding information at the bottom of the sheet for
all students
known to be receiving funding. (This no longer pertains to only international students).
REQUIRED INFORMATION: -
- Department/College Making Offer.
- Period of Assistantship Year.
- Term Value - X terms offered
- Fill in $ amount for stipend and insurance subsidy
- Term 1 hours = type in number of hours offered.
- Term 2 hours = type of number of hours offered.
$ amount will automatically calculate - Offer Date
- Offer Expiration Date
- Click the "Save" button.
- Leave Excel.
- Click back to WebX and you will get the following message:
- Click "Save this file as a new page version".
- Click "OK".
- Save the file as a new version and the system will change the Excel document into an image file.
- Closing will return the user to the 1st page of the decision page.

- Click the "Next Page" (

button on the toolbar to take you to the second page of the decision pages.
- Select "RS" (
) from the toolbar.
- Select appropriate rubber stamp.
- Click in appropriate box (i.e., advisor, dean, etc.).
- Add advisor name using "T" text icon from toolbar.
- Enter Text - This text box can be used to provide any information the user chooses.
- If a mistake has been made using the rubber stamp or text box, select the "Eraser" (
)from the toolbar.
- If a mistake has been made using the rubber stamp or text box, select the "Eraser" (
- At this point, update the index to indicate that a change has been made to the decision page.
