Please disregard the email you received Friday, as this email contains updated information. We’re looking forward to having you on campus in just a few weeks! But, as we get ready to welcome you back, we want to be sure you’re set for fall semester. First and foremost, we wanted to let you know about an important change to a process that you may already be aware of, known as invalidation. Based on concerns about the short window between bills being due and the potential for being removed from classes, housing and other services, we have delayed invalidation until Sunday, Aug. 19. We apologize for any undue stress the previous date may have caused. But because we know there’s a lot that happens before you go to your first class, and because the financial aspect of higher education can be complex, we’re here to help with your student account before classes begin Monday, Aug. 20. Here are some steps that can help alleviate problems: Check your student account. Check your student account often, as information regarding scholarships and other financial aspects update regularly. It’s easy to check using the myUT portal. You also can make payments arrangements, change services and get other information through the portal. Visit myUT.utoledo.edu. Use Rocket Solution Central. Our team of professionals will walk you through your questions. Rocket Solution Central is offering extended phone service and weekend service through Aug. 19. Call Rocket Solution Central at 419.530.8700 or go to utoledo.edu/rsc/ for details. ...And Remember: Invalidation date extended to Aug. 19. UT is extending the deadline for invalidation to Sunday, Aug. 19. Processing student account information is taking longer than expected, and we want to make sure you have enough time to get your finances in order. You can keep your current classes, housing arrangement, meal plan and parking permit as long as you’ve made payment arrangements by Sunday, Aug. 19. For more information about invalidation, go to utoledo.edu/offices/treasurer/. Fall semester is right around the corner. We look forward to having you back on campus the week of Aug. 20! |
