Master of Public Health Program

MPH Admissions Process

The College of Graduate Studies (COGS) reviews all uploaded and emailed application documents and determines eligibility for admission to graduate school. After COGS determines that an applicant is eligible to be admitted to graduate school, the documents are forwarded to the MPH Admissions Committee.

The MPH Admissions Committee, comprised of four University of Toledo faculty members, considers the applicant's admission to the MPH program. The Chair of the MPH Admissions Committee and the MPH Program Director must sign the final admissions page. Applicants receive a letter from the College of Graduate Studies announcing acceptance and a follow-up letter from the MPH program director providing admission status (provisional or regular) and additional program information.

Applications will not be sent to the MPH Admissions Committee unless all documents as described in the MPH Admission Requirements have been received. The University of Toledo College of Graduate Studies and the Master in Public Health Program do not offer conditional admission.

International students will be required to provide a bank letter/financial guarantee for formal admission to the university. After an international application is returned from the MPH admissions committee, international applicants will receive an email from the College of Graduate Studies outlining the financial requirements.

Applicants can check the status of their application at any time by logging into the application portal.

All applications are submitted electronically. For questions about completing the process or problems with the online application, contact the College of Graduate Studies at 419-530-5259.
