UT Michigan Initiative Award

This award is available to graduate students who are regularly admitted to a degree program entering any semester from the following Michigan counties:  Hillsdale, Lenawee, Macomb, Oakland, Washtenaw and Wayne. The award is available for those courses listed on the student's current Graduate Plan of Study, which is required to be submitted to COGS after the first semester of attendance. Assistantships

  • Graduate Assistantships: A limited number of graduate assistantships are available within the Department and they include both research and teaching. Assistantships are awarded as either fulltime (20 hours per week plus tuition waivers) or part-time (10 hours per week plus partial tuition waivers).
  • Graduate Assistantships on campus: School psychology students have been successful in securing graduate assistantships on campus in the counseling center, TRIO program, and residence life. Students may participate in the GA Fair held each year in March on-campus.
