Monday, September 24
Event: "I Bleed Blue and Gold" Blood Drive sponsored by the Red Cross Rocket Club
Details: Come donate blood for the American Red Cross
Location: Student Union Auditorium
Time: 9:00am-4:00pm
Event: "Good Morning Commuters" sponsored by the Office of Student Involvement
Location: Trimble (South) Lounge
Details: FREE bagels, donuts, coffee and tea for commuter students. Must show Rocket Card
to participate!
Time: 9:30am-11:00am
Event: Kickball Tournament sponsoring by the Interfraternity Council (IFC) and Panhellenic
Council
Details: Ten member teams are needed to participate. Submit registration form to SU2525B
Location: Glass Bowl (Rain Location - Student Recreation Center)

Event: Student Organization Banner Decorating Contest
Details: Combine the UT and Carnival theme together for a chance to win a $50 food award for
your organization. Any student organization that would like to participate in the
banner decorating contest should submit a registration form and banner to the Office
of Student Involvement, SU2525B by 5:00pm on Friday, September 21. Banners will be
hung in the Student Union Atrium (near Starbucks). Judging will be held Friday, October
5.

Event: Homecoming SWAG Day
Details: Giving away FREE t-shirts and FREE food in Centennial Mall, so stop by and get information
on the events happening throughout the week!

Details: Watch "We Bought a Zoo" on the Jumbotron with players from the UT football team!

Event: Tie Dye in the Mall
Details: Listen to music and tie dye FREE shirts in UT colors
Location: Centennial Mall

Event: Scavenger Hunt sponsored by Blue Key National Honor Society and Blue Crew
Details: Meet at the UT Seal and be the first to find all the secrets of UT. Winner receives
a gift card to the UT Bookstore!

Event: Midnight Breakfast and Traditions Night
Details: Come out and get your favorite breakfast foods and support The Sarcoma Foundation
of America and learn more about UT and you'll have a chance to win prizes!

Event: Student Organization Carnival Day
Details: Come out to meet the Homecoming Court candidates (Top 10 announted) and enjoy carnival
games, inflatables (sponsored by Office of Multi-Cultural Student Success), and food
all day; ending with a nationally-known performer (sponsored by Campus Activities
and Programming). If your student organization would like to have a booth, contact
sarah.dickey@rockets.utoledo.edu.

Details: Come watch amazing floats, dignitaries, fellow alumni, honorees, the Rocket Marching
Band, Rocky and Rocksy take the streets of Old Orchard for UT’s oldest and grandest
tradition.
Event: Homecoming Football Game
Details: The University of Toledo Rockets take on the Central Michigan Chippewas for the Homecoming
game. Come support the football team and find out the results for the 2012 Homecoming
King and Queen.
