CHSHS has 100 Dell Latitude laptops limited to College of Health Science and Human Service students for checkout purposes. All the Dell laptops are equipped with wireless network cards and configured to associate with the University's "public" connection.
Since the installation of 31 access points, all classrooms, including Dana Auditorium and the McQuade Courtroom, along with faculty, staff and student lounges, the multipurpose rooms and the exteriors of the building, have wireless capability.
There are no costs for using this system or its components. The only costs that may incur are fines for lost or damaged equipment, as well as late returns (overdue laptops).
Laptop checkout is limited to College of Health Science and Human Service students who are registered for the current semester. All CHSHS enrolled students pay a technology fee which covers services such as this.

The checkout area can be found on the second floor of the HH Building, Rm. 2100.
Laptop checkout times are:
Monday - Thursday 9:00 am to 4:45 pm
Friday 9:00 am to 2:45 pm

Laptops must be returned 15 minutes prior to closing on the day due.
Fees are as follow:
Late return (overnight)
$25.00/for day 1 and 2
$100/after day 2
Late return (after 15 days): $3,000 will be accessed for a replacement laptop.

Damages to be determined by CHSHS. In case of emergency, please call 530-5312.
Failure to return the laptop and any related accessories in the specified timeframe will result in a hold being placed on your account, which will prevent you from registering for classes, receiving grades, transcripts, etc.
Laptops not returned within 15 days, College Computing reserves the right to file criminal charges for theft.
