    Motion Analysis Laboratory

     

     

    The Motion Analysis Lab is a new 1600 square foot facility that is located in the College of Health and Human Services building. It provides space for instruction  in biomechanics, as well as both student and faculty research.  The lab provides a variety of state-of-the-art hardware and software, including:

     
    • Motion  Analysis Inc. 8 camera high speed Hi-Res system for video analysis
    • Four camera ELITE video system
    • Two SONY digital video cameras
    • Multiple 60 Hz video cameras for 2-D analysis
    • Three AMTI force plates
    • Two eight channel Noraxon EMG telemetry systems
    • An AMTI pressure mat
    • Multiple PC's
    • A variety of biomechanics-related software including EVA Hi-RES, EVA-RT, OrthoTrak, KinTrak, SIMM, GaitTrak, LiftTrak, FootTrak, SpineTrak, MyoResearch, MyoVideo, etc.

    Current Areas of Research:          

        1.  Biomechanics of Sport Injury          
        2.  Biomechanical Factors in Pathological Motion 
        3.  Biomechanics of Golf
