    Faculty/Staff
    Phillip Gribble, Ph.D., ATC

    Assistant Professor, Department of Kinesiology
    Director, Graduate Athletic Training Program
    Director, Athletic Training Research Laboratory

I have been an assistant professor at the University of Toledo since the fall of 2003.   My research interests involve the mechanisms by which disruptions in neuromuscular control impair lower extremity function.   More specifically, I am interested in functional testing and postural control measures related to selected musculoskeletal injuries, such as chronic ankle instability.   Additionally, I have interests in the effects of fatigue on functional performance.   I serve as the director of the graduate athletic training program, and the Athletic Training Research Laboratory, as well as teach courses in the accredited undergraduate athletic training program.
