    Since earning a master’s degree in psychology and graduate certificate in gerontology in 1990 and a Ph.D. in psychology in 1995, Dr. Barbara Kopp Miller has developed as a social psychologist and gerontologist at the University of Toledo. She is currently an Associate Professor in the Departments of Occupational Therapy and Public Health and Homeland Secruity and the Administrative Director of the Center for Successful Aging.

    Dr. Kopp Miller began at the University of Toledo in 1991. She is responsible for teaching content in geriatrics and gerontology, grant writing/program development, health communication, professional development, and grief and bereavement to graduate level occupational therapy, physical therapy and physician assistant studies students.   

    Dr. Kopp Miller’s primary research areas include: sexuality, grief and bereavement, and survey instrument development.
