Web Site Hosting Requests
All students, faculty and staff may have a personal sub web hosted within http://homepages.utoledo.edu/. These sites can be used for personal, non-profit usage. They are not to be used for course related content. All content on the site must meet the University’s Web Site content policy guidelines as posted by the Center for Creative Instruction. Information protected by HIPAA and FERPA may not be posted on your web site.
Your web site’s content is stored within your UTAD network home directory folder. The amount of space allotted for your web site will be part of the quota allowed for your network home directory. Your site will be available for the duration of time that you are a registered student or employee at the University of Toledo. Before leaving the University please copy your web site to a cd or other form of backup media.
To request a personal web site for yourself go to http://ithelp.utoledo.edu and fill out a remedy request. Include your name, UTAD Userid and email address. After the site space has been created you will receive directions on how to add web pages to it.
All other web site requests or information should be directed to the Center for Creative Instruction at: email@example.com.
