Installing Adobe Creative Cloud Apps


The University of Toledo Division of Technology and Advanced Solutions is excited to announce that we are offering personal purchases of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite for all students, faculty, and staff!  The software can be purchased at https://software.utoledo.edu

After purchasing the software, you will receive and email from Adobe with information on your purchase.  To download and install the software applications please follow the directions below!

    1. Sign in to your Adobe account with the username of username@rockets.utoledo.edu (ex. jsmith23@rockets.utoledo.edu)
    2. It will redirect you to our UT login portal where you will sign in with your normal username and password
    3. In the Creative Cloud apps Catalog, click the Download button on the app you want to download. Your app will begin to download.
    4. On your desktop, double-click the downloaded file to launch the installer. On a Mac: The name of the downloaded file is _Installer.dmg. On a Windows PC:  The name of the downloaded file is _Set-Up.exe.
    5. Once the installer window opens, sign in to your Adobe account with your username@rockets.utoledo.edu password if you’re not  already signed in.
    6. Fill out the short questionnaire that opens on your screen and click Continue.
    7. Click Start Installing to install your app

Once installed, your app will launch automatically.

For personal purchases only who already have a separate contract not paid through The University of Toledo:

If you are currently in an existing contract with Adobe, please contact them about cancelling your current contract. Explain that you will be participating in The University of Toledo's ETLA agreement, and ask to have your termination fee waived PRIOR to repurchasing with The University of Toledo. You may contact Adobe via https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html or at 1-800-833-6687. Please submit a support ticket by clicking here if you have any issues.

Please visit the Adobe web page here to view instructions on how to migrate your cloud data, assets, and libraries from one Adobe Creative Cloud subscription account to another Adobe Creative Cloud subscription account.
