Protecting Sensitive Data
When in doubt, don't give it out!
Identify information as "SENSITIVE" on the printout pages, diskette, screen, etc.
All external University email correspondence sent to addresses other than those at
utoledo.edu containing PHI, SSN's, credit card numbers or other sensitive personal
information should be encrypted prior to transmission. (see UT Electronic Mail Services
