ASCOM Wireless Phones

Telephone Services now manages the Ascom wireless phones, providing continuity of service for all of your telephony needs.
We are located in Dowling Hall, room 0023 and our hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 

How to Report Issues or Problems: Contact the IT Help Desk by utilizing the IT Help Desk icon located on your desktop computer or by calling x2400, the Help Desk is staffed 24/7/365.  **Please note that all requests will be addressed the next business day Monday through Friday.**

When reporting issues, the following information is required:

  • Your name
  • The Ascom telephone number with problems
  • Describe the problem you are experiencing
  • An alternate contact number
  • Your location – building and room number

How to Order New Ascom Equipment: This includes new phones, batteries or chargers. To request a quote complete the form by clicking the link, http://www.utoledo.edu/it/tc/webforms/ascom-equipment-order-form.html.

  • Your Name
  • Department Number(ex. A10578 or 517930)
  • Department Name
  • Approver’s Name(where to send the quote to)

Once your quote is approved, Telephone Services will process your order, this takes approximately two to three weeks.  All orders for ASCOM phones or spare parts will be billed to the Department on the requestors quote. We process billing the first of every month.

Telephone Services highly recommends that departments begin to stock spare batteries and an activated spare phone for immediate off hours issue resolution.
