Requirement of Legal Intern Certification
For court appearances and client representation in Ohio placements, students need the Ohio Supreme Court Legal Intern certification. Application forms can be obtained in the Registrar’s Office or by visiting the Ohio Supreme Court’s Legal Intern Certification page. A certified check or money order for $25 made out to "Ohio Supreme Court" must accompany your application. The Ohio Supreme Court clerk’s office will return the certification to the Registrar’s Office where you can pick it up. For research and writing only placements, no certification is required.
