Hon. Myron C. Durhart

Myron C. Duhart was elected to the Ohio Sixth District Court of Appeals in November 2020. Prior to the Court of Appeals, he served as a trial judge in the Lucas County Common Pleas Court, General Division since 2011 and served as a commercial docket judge.

He received a B.A. in political science from Wright State University and his J.D. from The University of Toledo College of Law. Judge Duhart also received an L.L.M. in judicial studies from Duke University School of Law and has attended the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Prior to judicial service, Judge Duhart was in private practice in the areas of business litigation, criminal law, and personal injury. He also served in the U.S. Army as a JAG Corp Officer.

Judge Duhart is a member of the Toledo, Lucas, and Ohio State Bar Association. Judge Duhart is the past President of the Toledo Bar Association, the Thurgood Marshall Law Association and the University of Toledo College of Law Alumni Board of Governors.
