UT College of Law Moves Up in Rankings

April 3, 2014

The University of Toledo College of Law once again has been ranked by U.S. News & World Report among the top tier of American law schools. In the latest U.S. News rankings released in March, Toledo Law is ranked #140 out of 194 ABA-accredited law schools in the United States.

Other national law publications also have recognized Toledo Law. In 2012, National Jurist magazine named Toledo Law one of the Best Schools for Public Service and one of the Best Schools for Bar Exam Preparation.

Toledo Law is one of five Ohio law schools that achieved a top-tier ranking in U.S. News this year. Three other Ohio law schools are ranked by U.S. News in its lower tier.

“Moving up in the rankings is gratifying,” said Daniel J. Steinbock, dean of the College of Law. “But regardless of yearly rankings, the quality and value of a Toledo Law education are consistently outstanding.”

Applications are still being accepted, and scholarships are still being awarded, for the fall 2014 entering class at Toledo Law.
