Toledo Law to host legal scholarship conference

October 8, 2015

The University of Toledo College of Law will host legal scholars from across the country on Oct. 9 and 10 at the Central States Law Schools Association (CSLSA) annual conference to be held at the Law Center.

CSLSA is an organization composed of law schools from the central portion of the United States. This year’s conference will be attended by more than fifty law professors, who will present on a myriad of different topics.

Eric Chaffee, associate dean for faculty research and development at the College of Law, is the current president of CSLSA.

“It’s an honor to be the leader of such a distinguished organization and to help bring together scholars from a wide variety of schools to discuss the law,” said Chaffee. “I’m pleased that the College is willing to host this event, and it demonstrates the deep commitment to research and scholarship at Toledo Law.”

Chaffee is one of several Toledo Law professors who will present during the event. Others include Kara Bruce, Llewellyn Gibbons, Gregory Gilchrist, Jessica Knouse, Bryan Lammon, Elizabeth McCuskey, Agnieszka McPeak, Nicole Porter, and Evan Zoldan.
