Biographical Sketch

This collection contains materials related to the Paratshek family of Toledo. A brief outline of the family tree as known is outlined below.

Louis Joseph Paratschek married Theresia Seefried at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Toledo Ohio Feb. 1st 1892. They had nine children that survived to adulthood.


Scope and Content Note

The collection contains three scrapbooks, a flyer for a school performance from 1934, and a calendar from 1998.

Scrapbook #1 relates to Mary Kelly’s life throughout college. Scrapbooks #2 and #3 are filled with pictures of the family as well as newspaper clippings of the Paratschek family.

The collection covers events primarily between 1872 and 1970, and because of the wide range of dates covered in the scrapbooks and the size of the collection, materials have been arranged according to size.
