Historical/Biographical Sketch
Mr. Jeff Cole has contributed to the University of Toledo in many ways. He served as Student Government President from 1987 to 1988, Editor in Chief of The Collegian from 1988 to 1989, was appointed Admissions Counselor in 1989 and in 1997 resigned as the Director of Development for the College of Pharmacy. He received a Bachelor of the Arts in Communication from UT in 1989 and his Masters of Education in 2006. Cole was the president at Press Club of Toledo and the Development Officer and Admissions Counselor at the University of Toledo. He is currently, as of 2015, working as the Director of Marketing Communications at Dana and serves on the Board of Directors of the Dana Foundation.
Scope and Content Note
This collection documents the tenure of Student Government President Jeff Cole (1987-1988). Also included are files dating after Cole’s term of office was completed, but which relate to issues he was involved with as president. The files include information on the planning and construction of the new Student Recreation Center, improvements to the Glass Bowl, and the Student Government Constitution with minutes.These papers document the time in which Cole was a student attending the University of Toledo and a few years beyond.
