Module 2: What is WorldCAT?

In review, WorldCAT is a world catalog that is available to subscribing libraries. It proves valuable when a user can't find a title in UTMOST or OhioLINK. If you search WorldCAT, you can verify the existence of a work and determine the correct title. WorldCAT also shows libraries that own the item.

Interactive Tutorial: WorldCAT. The purpose of this tutorial is to demonstrate a WorldCAT catalog search and record. Using a sample search for genetic engineering, choosing a title from the result list and finding a copy of the material is shown.
