In the tutorial for the Ocularly Well endowed, we do a keyword search for genetic engineering and the resulting search finds 405 items. (Notice “Books” is not used. Some items could be pamphlets, reference databases, online newspapers, movies, e-periodicals or paper periodical titles; would it be fair to say that ‘items” is the politically correct word?)
405 are too many items for a five to ten page paper, so in the search box and the words “and food” were added to the
search in order to limit the information search to a narrower topic, genetic engineering and food.
Now the search has 26 items and the first item was selected and is copied next. This is a full jaws reading of the page, so it is long and has many tempting detours…
