University Libraries Marketing Campaign Requests

The University Libraries Marketing Committee is charged with the overall marketing of the University Libraries, as well as providing marketing support for Library-supported events. While we are not event planners, we are glad to help you in promoting and publicizing your own library-related programs through print and social media, electronic and web displays, and other materials. When you inform us of the basic content about the event, we are more than happy to help create a centralized and multifaceted marketing campaign to get the word out. So, if you are responsible for planning an event, whether a recurring annual event, an art exhibit, a speaker, or any other library event, please submit this Marketing Campaign Request Form to let us help you!

How can you help us successfully promote your events?

  • Give us as much lead time as you can (6 weeks advance notice is preferable).
  • Tell us what you want people to know about your event. This can be a few quick bullet points about what, where, when, and who, or longer content to be sent out for a press release or blog article.
  • Take pictures or let us know about images that we may use. We will be happy to create drafts of graphics to give your event a visual identity.
