    Suggesting books and other purchases

The Library encourages the faculty to make recommendations for titles the library may consider purchasing. Our Library Liaison program assigns a library faculty member to several colleges and programs on campus.  The librarian can be contacted  to coordinate purchase requests from the departments and address other issues related to the library. To request an item to be purchased for the collection, fill out the online University Libraries Book Purchase Request form. If you have questions about book and material purchases, please contact Alice Crosetto, Acquisitions Librarian at (419) 530-2760. (PageTop)

    Course Reserves

The Mulford Library offers paper reserve reading services as well as electronic reserves via the UT Library Catalog. Students can gain access to full-text articles, multimedia, and other documents that are placed on reserve. For information on placing items on reserve in either electronic or print format, please contact the Mulford Services Desk at 419.383.4225. (PageTop)

    Instruction Services for your classes

The faculty of the Mulford Library can provide instruction on a variety of library resources. Topics include instruction on various research databases, the bibliographic software Endnote, and the skills necessary to find and evaluate medical and healthcare information sources. Instruction can be customized for your specific course needs.

Librarians have also prepared a number of general and subject guides to assist you and your students in finding resources. These guides include information on finding and using materials, citation styles, general guides, and pathfinders that provide overviews of the research resources for a particular subject or course.  You are free to use these resources in your classes.  Click here for the list of guides available on our website.

If you would like to schedule a class on the Health Science Campus, please contact Mulford Reference Assitance, 419.383.4218 or MulfordReference@utoledo.edu. More information about the Educational Services at Mulford library, as well as guides and tutorials specific to the health sciences are available on the Mulford Library web site. (PageTop)
