The fee for Part 2 is $ 8.00 and is non-refundable and non-transferable from one class to another. Fees do NOT include cost of a textbook (refer to Student Materials section). The AHA strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in BLS, ACLS, and PALS and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such course, except a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the Association. |

Materials: |
Students are required to order and complete the On-line Part 1 session (BLS for Healthcare Providers Online Part 1). This is product Item 90-1403 and may be obtained at www.onlineAHA.org or thru any American Heart Association vendor (Laerdal, WorldPoint, or Channing-Bete). Refer to the flyer / email sent to students regarding course information. No textbook is necessary with the On-line course. |

Prerequisite: |
Students must complete the On-line Part 1 session and print off the completion certificate BEFORE attending Part 2. The Part 1 certificate must be submitted to instructors at the beginning of the Part 2 session. |
| Course Completion
Requirements: |
The successful completion of both Part 1 & Part 2 results in course completion. Part 2 completion requires being able to perform CPR on a manikin, and will require kneeling on the floor. |
