BIPG5500/7500 Microarray Analysis (1cr)

Graduating students WILL BE ABLE TO:
L1. Students will practice downloading and reading data from GEO and other data repositories.
L2. Describe various gene expression technologies.
L3. Describe various protein expression technologies.
L4. Discuss the roles and methods for data preprocessing.
L5. Interpret results, including tests of significance, to identify differentially expressed genes(DEGs).
L6. Classify statistically significant DEGs in biologically appropriate ways.
L7. Use appropriate presentation formats so results can be shared meaningfully.
