About the Program

The Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences (MSBS) in Assistant in Pathology program utilizes innovative instructional methods in conjunction with the medical school and physician assistant program’s diverse resources to provide students with outstanding educational opportunities. The curriculum provides graduates with the knowledge and skills needed to maximize healthcare as Pathologists’ Assistants and leaders in ever-evolving healthcare industry.

Our program has been recommended for a full, 5-year accreditation by the National Accreditation Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) Review Committee for Accredited Programs, which met on July 13, 2018.  This recommendation will be presented to the NAACLS Board of Directors on September 27, 2018 for a final, formal decision.
