    Joseph Jay Ryno, DO, FACEP

I graduated BS (Zoology) from Arizona State Un. in 1970, MS (Zoology, research on alkaline phosphatase in the plutus stage of the sea urchin) from Miami Un. (Ohio), DO from College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery (Des Moines, Ia.) in 1976,  Rotating Internship at Parkview Osteopathic Hospital (Toledo).

I have worked in Emergency Medicine from Nov. 1977 until present in NW Ohio.  Most of this time was in small community Hospitals
I started working at UTMC ED (MCO) in Dec. 1996.

I have no particular research interest, rather I am interested in "coaching"  students and residents so that they learn how to use the information they know, and become excellent physician.

My outside interests include: amateur radio, archery, flying, masters swimming, and coaching springboard diving.
