Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Unity Day 2024
Join The University of Toledo on Monday, Jan. 15 at 10 a.m. for a virtual celebration
of living the dream and honor the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr.
The theme for 23rd annual Unity Day Celebration is “I AM the Dream.”
Rosa Alicia Clemente, an organizer, independent journalist, producer and scholar activist, is the keynote speaker, and Toledo native Darryl Brown, founder and creative director of Midwest Kids, Inc. and Darryl Brown LLC, will discuss the Unity Day Celebration theme.
UToledo President Gregory Postel and Toledo Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz also will be among the speakers at the virtual event, which will be livestreamed.
This event is in partnership with the city of Toledo and the city of Toledo Human Relations Commission.
