Class of 1977
- Jon Dvorak was sworn in as Second Vice President of the UT Alumni Associaiton in May 2006. He is a pediatric physician with ProMedica Physician’s Group in Perrysburg, Ohio. (posted July 2006)
- Richard E. Oswald received his DO from Midwestern Universtiy - Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. Currently the Medical
Director for
Warren Memorial Hospital's Occupational Medicine Department. As a Naval Reservist, he also served as the Command Surgeon for
the U.S.
Strategic Command in Omaha, NE. (posted July 2004)
Class of 1978
- David Hufford is Associate Director of Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine at Toledo Children’s Hospital and medical director for
Camp SUPERKIDS®
resident camp at Camp Libbey in Defiance. He is married to fellow UT alum Susan Clay-Hufford (Clay). (posted July 2006)

Class of 1975
- Thomas Wakefield earned his MD from MCO* in 1978. He did his residency at the University of Michigan and a fellowship in vascular
surgery at
the University of Michigan Medical School. He is a Professor in the Department of Surgery, Section Head for Vascular Surgery
and S. Martin
Lindenauer Professor of Vascular Surgery . He was interviewed on NBC's Today Show on June 13. (posted June 2006)
Class of 1970
- Thomas Haverbush received his Medical degree from the University of Michigan. He completed an Orthopaedic Surgery Residency
at the Cleveland
Clinic Foundation, Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Haverbush also is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at the College of Human
Medicine,
Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan and has a teaching affiliation with the Physician Assistant program at Central
Michigan
University, Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. He has developed a web site focusing on orthopaedic teaching and learning for patient
education and
