The department offers a B.S. degree in biology. The courses and research in the department emphasize cell biology, molecular biology, genetics and related areas. Biosciences undergraduates are offered many opportunities including the chance to participate in the biology honors program, conduct undergraduate research, study abroad at the University of Salford or be selected as an undergraduate teaching assistant.
