Nobel Laureate to give talk at UT

Dr. Ei-ichi Negishi was awarded a Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2010 for his seminal contributions in developing palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions. These reactions are used in all areas of synthetic chemistry as a basis for making pharmaceutical drugs, fungicides for protecting crops, and LED devices to name just a few. Dr. Negishi's talk will be held Monday August 27th at 4:00 p.m. in FH 2100. If you would like to post an announcement flyer for the talk, please do so. A pdf can be found here.
