Scout Programs
Throughout the year, Ritter Planetarium offers specialized programs for Boy Scouts,
Girl Scouts, and Cub Scouts. These programs not only assist scouts in completing astronomy
requirements, but also inspire them to stargaze in the future.
BSA PROGRAM
Our BSA programs are designed around merit badge requirements. Scouts will learn about
the night sky, telescopes, celestial objects and more. The Cub program is $10 per
person (including adults) while the BSA program is $12 per person (including adults).
Girl Scout Space Science Program
Our Girl Scout programs are designed around the new Astronomy badge requirements.
Scouts will learn about the night sky, planets, the color spectrum, and more. Programs
are available for each badge, but multi-level troops can be accomidated. Daisies
and Brownies are $10 per person (including adults) while Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors,
and Ambassadors are $12 per person (including adults).
