UT College of Nursing Research Conference "Changing Practice through Nursing Research" |
The Office of Nursing Research and Evaluation (ONRE), established in 2010, replaces the former Center for Nursing Research and Evaluation. The primary role of the Office is to spearhead and administer research and scholarly initiatives for the College of Nursing faculty and students. A secondary role is to fulfill data management and summary functions for College assessment and evaluation needs as identified by the Program Assessment Committee, Program Directors, and the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs.
The ONRE provides consultation for faculty for the full spectrum of research activity from development of research questions through applications for funding and post-award supports for implementation, data analysis, results interpretation, and dissemination activity.
The ONRE houses a research lab with computers, printers, and software for analysis of qualitative and quantitative data and poster design, and storage for research data.
Faculty input to strategic initiatives and operations of the ONRE are invited through the Nursing Research Advisory Committee, comprised of one representative from each CON department.
