University Council

The University Council is the principal university body for shared governance at the University of Toledo as designated by the Board of Trustees. The University Council provides the organizational structure through which key stakeholders of the University consider and provide input to the Board of Trustees on matters relevant to the strategic goals of the University.

Composed of representatives of faculty, students, staff, alumni, and administrators, the University Council ensures that the University continually strives to meet its mission, vision, core values, and strategic goals. The University Council advises the Board of Trustees through the administration and accepts responsibilities as may be delegated to it by the Board of Trustees.
