Vision StatementThe vision of the Office of Governmental Relations at the University of Toledo is to provide a comprehensive political view of the world to university administration, faculty, staff, and students so that transformative efforts may be focused to where they will be the most effective and do the most good.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Office of Governmental Relations at the University of Toledo is
to support the university and advance its strategic plan by forging and maintaining
valuable partnerships between the university and local, state, and federal governments
and public agencies. The OGR realizes this mission through representation and advocacy
of the university’s needs and interests with local, state and federal elected and
appointed officials in the City of Toledo, around the region, at the State Capitol,
and in Washington, D.C.
